Thanks to everyone on this forum for such GREAT advice, tips and information these last few weeks as we prepare for our first trip to bali. We are taking a bunch of stuff over to the krisna rajasa orphanage (or Giri Asih if it is no longer operational).
I work for a football club and have had heaps of the guys giving their old training shirts, jerseys and numerous polo shirts from matches etc to me. However, most of them are size L to XXL. Are there any fat men in bali? Hrrmm. I know its pointless giving them to the orphanage since they request no bigger than an aussie medium. Anyone got any suggestions where I should give these bigger mens shirts and clothes to?
Also....bras for women. Would the orphanage want these? Someone mentioned that women in the villages want bras...so I have quite a collection, but arent too sure about walking up to someone and giving them some used underwear.
Sorry to sound so ignorant, just wanting to figure out priorites for all the excess we're taking over.
