Dear Joelle,
first of all, I don't know how much Le Meridien will charge for a breakfast, when I stayed there it was included in the package.
The Nirwana is a first class hotel on international standards, will mean everything is perfect there, whenever you have a problem or a wish, they will solve it immediately.
It's a very large resort with beautiful gardens, spectacular pools, a great Spa and a really impressing golf course over black cliffs embedded in rice fields.
The staff is very attentive and friendly, this all has it's price, so inside the hotel whatever you consume is expensive compared to what you will pay out on the streets.
The breakfast at Nirwana very good, they have some different cold and warm buffets, even a special buffet with dim sum, variety of different breads, fruits, fresh juices, there is really nothing missing, lots of imported things also, they also do not care when the children are feeding the fishes with Kellogg's cornflakes.
It's served in a nice ambience, on a terrace in the garden, directly at a small lake with Kois.
I think the price for the breakfast cannot be considered isolated in your case, the question is more, is it worth the 145 U$ for two or not, you will have to answer this question to yourself, I would say it is.
Best regards
Thorsten
