Three of my children had demam berdarah and believe me it is very specific. It is "dengue fever". That being said, because it is so common now, and has killed a number of people, the first thing the locals think when someone has a fever is whether it's dengue fever or not. The doctors are adept at diagnosing it and always follow up with frequent blood tests and hospitalisation if necessary.
I'm an expert at the treatment of the symptoms now!
