It is not rude to recline your seat at all. Who wants to sit at 90 degrees for the whole flight. I have always considered the people behind and only reclined a small amount. I am amazed that people think reclining a seat a small amount is not acceptable. Unfortunately we had the flight from hell last trip and I was kicked and had my hair pulled by a child behind for3 hours before I asked for it to cease it ended the worst flight we have ever had and I was abused for moving my seat back about 1 inch. I do not believe that fully reclining your seat is considerate but ultimately the passenger has every right to be comfortable.
