On our 3rd trip we booked 7 nights with a travel agent and then found our own accomodation for the following 2 weeks. We didnt have children which made it easier, and it wasnt over the holiday season. Only pain is lugging your bags around in the heat till you find somewhere, but we had no trouble in getting a place.
