recently had to make a claim and the travel insurance company depreciated every item, so our $2500 claim ended up with us receiving $1300, only enough to repurchase 1 item we lost!
check whether your insurance company replaces lost or stolen items, or pays you out in cash, a worse option considering this insurance policy terms, but I should have checked!
