I asked a lady at our 'favourite' stall if she did hair extentions. It was an average stall right off the street (bakung sari st in kuta). She said she had women that did. So she got the 2 women and I asked them back to my hotel so I could sit in the air con/pool while they were put in. Mine were fine with no fraying or anything until after about a week and a half when my hair started to fray out of the plaits. 200,000 the first time (3.5 hours with 2 girls) and 150,000 (3.5 hrs again) the second time. Really, its just a matter of choice for you. If you'd rather not find someone to do them (mind you, there are girls EVERYWHERE doing them) and want to be in guaranteed air con (in case they wouldnt go to your own hotel) the MBR might be a good option. As someone pointed out, whether you pay $30 or $60 its still a buttload cheaper than the hundreds of $$ you'd pay in aus. Have fun!
