AP flight cancelled this Sunday

I have just been told by my travel agent that this Sundays "direct" flight is no longer available. To compensate we have to leave 4 hours earlier on a domestic flight to Sydney then catch an Australian Airlines flight into Denpasar. Is it just me or is that really annoying. (My wifes only request to me when making the booking was a direct flight)

Never fear though I am reliably informed that the AP rep will meet us at Tullamarine and hand us our "complimentary" dinner cruise on the Bounty I beleive.

Any feedback forumites - should I be pissed off or deal with it?? I read in a earlier post by sonia yesterday that it happened in Brissie too and she got the cruise "plus" 60% off her next AP booking in the next 12 months.

Do I kick and scream, coz my wife sure will when she finds out in about 1 hour.
