Hi, just to let you know that I stayed at the Sofitel last year and loved it, the pool is lovely. It is right on the beach which the other two are not and the beach outside the hotel cleaner than the others which are further down the beach in Legian. We walked along the beach for sunset drinks at KuDeTa and could easily walk to all our resturants every night - you will be spoiled for choice.
I have a friend who has stayed at both the Legian Beach ( the one in Legian not the one in Seminyak near the Oberoi?) and she preferred the Padma. Good Luck hope this helps
