For everyone who is convinced that its all a scam even though they havent tried it...
we have had two lots of one weeks accom from these sessions paying only the $50 booking fee and the accom both times was fantastic! We've never been interested in buying timeshare but have sat through the info sessions both to pick up the prize but, more importantly, to help out a couple of the guys handing out the tickets. A lot of those guys have been really struggling since the bomb in 2002 to support their families and if you attend the session and stay at least 45 of the allocated 90 minutes they get paid US$10.
So before you damn the system of selling timeshare and, very offensively, what sometimes seems to read as the whole Indonesian population, as being devious and dishonest you might want to give it a go. You might be pleasantly surprised.
