even if you own a timeshare week, it is usually a fixed week. Additionally, you pay maintaintence fees every year... these are probably the same price as the accommodation part of your package deal... Time share properties never increase in value, they only ever decrease. If you join RCI to try and exchage your week, wour choices of where to stay are always limited and the good resorts are always booked way in advance...
The time share people in Bali give you nothing for nothing!!!! And with the volatility of the Indonesian economy over the years who is to say your investment will still exist in years to come!
And a final point beware the timeshare sellers who will answer your post... I have seen that before.
My family has never actually owned timeshare... we are too sensible but have been given weeks in Thailand and other Asian countries and 99% of the time we have moved out and bought other accommodation, it was so bad!
Sorry to be blunt... but avoid timeshare at all costs!!!! And it will cost!!!!
