Sanur or Nusa dua better?

I had intended to book a hotel at Nusa dua because i thought shopping would be great at the Galleria and the beach would be great for the kids. but I was disappointed to find out that the Gallaria is totally closed.Is there any shopping left at Nusa Dua- any departmental stores? Which would be better for both beach and shopping?any departmental store at Sanur?
