At low tide It's not very sand at all. And the water is full of garbage. Went surfing about 300 meters up from there and plastic bags get caught on your leg rope. You'll see a couple of floating thongs. Save the beach to a day trip to Dreamland beach and stay in the pool the rest of the trip.
