I've done plenty of bargaining for hotel rooms of various grades in Bali, just by walking in off the street, but only when I've had plenty of time and I've never tried it at the Tjampuhan.
A Forumite who's in Bali now for the first time was quoted US$115 when he emailed them direct. I intervened on his behalf and got them down to US$90, but I think that's too much. I'd be interested to hear how you go. Whatever you do, make sure it includes breakfast.
