i dont think the reason is that she is young and attractive, i think its because her family and press brought national attention to the incident. all these males that you speak about that are locked up in indonesia - well maybe there families havent brought attention to the media or appealed to the government as much. For example (i know its a different situation - but that aust male david hicks, who was involved with the terrorist group - he had heaps of international attention brought to his case becuase of his father hounding the government and the media, whereas that young arabic woman in sydney had barely any attention - yet she actually seems innocent and caught up in the middle cus of her husband (which she hadnt seen for a year) was involved in alkaida
