Visiting north - yes I would say worth it.
The thing you need to do is plan a trip up yet stop at a few places
along the way (up and back). It will be a long day yet worth it.
Takes about 3 hours to get up to Singaraja (means Lion King by the way)
from Legian / Kuta area. We have a sponsor child up in this area, in a very
remote part of Singaraja. Almost needed a donkey to get to his house, yet
what an experience.
Stay in Ubud - YES !
You must stay in Ubud, sure you can visit yet there is something peaceful
about Ubud that you feel only when you stay ... 2 nights are better as
when you wake up on the 1ST morning you need to 'take it in' rather
than having to start packing your bags.
We have stayed at Tjumpuhan a few times, and had a good look at the
Pita Maha this last trip (have some pix if you like).
Lazy Bop (by the sea) - yes yes yes.
This is a must in Bali .... be it on a deck chair on a nice piece of grass
at the edge of the hotel grounds which face the sea, or even on hire
deck chair on the beach.
As for your hotels - all very nice, you have picked VERY well and
any of these places would be great. On last trip went and had a look
at the Oberoi (after a yummy breaky at Ku De Ta - next door).
Took some pix - can e-mail if you like. Any place in Nusa Dua (like
the Sheraton) are all very nice, yet we personally think a bit out of the way.
Depends if you like resort type holiday, or nice hotel but get out and about
type holiday.
If you would like any other details on anything, just e-mail.
