Or maybe you have to pay extra if it's not a "Giro" post office (one that allows immediate electronic transactions). Possibly some post offices have to call another branch, which might be why they quoted the larger fee.
And did you understand whoever it was who said the money goes to Jakarta first? I mean, no actual cash leaves the post office. It's just a security number that goes from one place to another.
