One year we caught the local bemo from Lovina to Gilimanuk, an elderly Balinese lady was travelling to market with a chook in a plastic bag with it's head just poking out. We stopped to pick up a young Balinese guy and he accidentally nearly sat on it well did she give him a telling off. Another time on a local bemo an old lady pointed to a ring on her finger, thinking it was a family heirloom I was admiring it, when she held up four fingers. Another time at Joni's Restaurant in Legian a drunken Aussie (a young lady) was making a fool of herself then started throwing up. The young Balinese waitress was in her glory as she ran from table to table giving us all the details, don't you just love them.
