Should I consider making most of our room reservations when we arrive in Bali--or--pre-book them from Korea? Prices looking for are between $30 to $50 Aus. -or-U.S.
We'll be coming February 4th/2005 and staying until February 24th. I've been told that it's not very busy during this month, so we might be able to get some decent deals for accomodations. Is this true???
What's the month like for weather--rainy season?
Anyone stayed at the Shangrila in Candi Dasa or the Rama Hotel--the price I have for the Rama is $36 U.S per night for a Superior wing room.-and what are they like??-

What about the Ubud area? We're thinking of the Pertiwi Bungalow Hotel--What do you think?
What Spa would you recommend--I hear Zen is good, but Verona's is not so great. Do you know of a good cooking school? Was thinking of Casa Luna?

Shopping I think we'll cover in Kuta and Ubud--any other areas to look out for bargains--Tailored leather jacket and boots-silver -or gold jewelry- Balinese wood carvings-
What about currency--I know they don't take the Korean Won-or- Canadian --What should I take Australian, New Zealznd, or U.S. dollars-- for purely economic reasons??
