I bought a painting from the same shop and had it put back on a frame by a framer when we returned (which cost more than the painting itself). It was fabulous quality and I saw the same painting in a shop here in Sydney selling for $980!!!! mmmm
I'm thinking that next year we'll bring one back on the frame (wrapping it well) and put it through as cargo - see what happens.
