was at the bumi ayu and asked the chef to shoe me how to cook nasi goreng, they use a combination of ABC chilli sambal and ABC tomatoe katchup, cook you medium grain rice first and add it to your dish hot,
first prepare the vegatable, only use julienne carrots, and chopped celery leaves, this is where the unusual flavour comes from, have your wok really hot with a comination of oil and butter, add to eggs and immediately add the pork mince and prawns fry for a few seconds, add the vegges, and then the sauce, rice, and then season with sugar, salt and pepper, cook on a really hot heat, but your actual cooking time is only a minute or so, top with an egg, this is an easy recipe, but its really great. When in bali ask the hotel chef to let you in the kitchen, theya re usually happy to oblige.
