A couple of years ago I went for a head and foot massage in a hairdresser's shop in the Kuta Galleria. Can't remember the name, but the place was crawling with homosexuals. Bit of a hoot actually. The head massage was wonderful but the foot massage was excruciating. No matter how many times I said "ouch" and asked him to back off, he didn't (either couldn't or wouldn't), and a conversation was completely out of the question as he spoke no English. In the end I just said "No more, finished", got up and left. Had another head massage there this year, but will never have another foot massage. Agonising!
