We were in Bali two years ago for these holidays and the traffic is a nightmare. Our hotel was booked out for a few days and trying to get home from Kuta to Benoa was a nightmare. They drive over from Java and there just is too many cars for the streets. I was shopping up in Legian and had to walk down to Kartika Plaza to get a cab back to Benoa due to the traffic jamming up all the roads. Cars were not moving. No problems with shopping and being on the streets as the Muslim people are mostly at the temple or in the traffic.
