We usually go up to Bali end Oct/beginning Nov. I see that next year Idul Fitri falls 3/4 Nov, a little earlier than the last couple of years. We have never coincided with this holiday before, although we have been there for Nyepi.
I have heard that Bali is nightmare for the week following this date. Whilst I realise that this is current info as Idul Fitri this year was last Sun/Mon (?) is there anyone that has been there at this time in previous years? I read on a Baliwaves report that it was 2-3hrs from airport - Legian, the traffic was so bad!!
It is our Silver Wedding anniv. on 8th Nov and as such don't want to remember it by being our worst trip to Bali due to crowds!!
