I don't like to pour cold water on your advice, nobody can transfer the ownership of land without the permission of those that own it or hold the title to it.
Regardless of where you live, the title of the land we've been told is in the Balinese Husbands name only, any transfer of title would and could only be done in Indonesia by the legal system there.
Unless Elena has a legal document saying she owns a share of the property, nothing can really be done unless the Husband agrees.
Elena has said the property is in her Husbands name only, the only way she can do anything is to try to prove to an Indonesian court the property has been purchased with her money and hope they rule in her favour,..... and in all my 25 years experience in Indonesia i've never heard of anybody winning such a case.
If the Husband holes sole title he can also sell it without the wifes approval and keep the funds,...
