Now I guess there are about 1000 to 1500 threads per month. A couple of kb means in reality something like an aditional 2 - 3 MB per Month. Normaly the smallest "unit" is set to 8k on a harddisk. That means even a 2 kb file takes 8k in reality. So we are talking about 8 to 12 MB per month of aditional diskspace.
1000 to 1500 messages per month just saying thank you... The indexing software will scream of joy.
How about building the "thank you" straight into the original question? Like:
"Does anybody know if they serve fresh strawberry jam for breakfast in the XYZ hotel?
Thanks for your answer!"
