We were responsible for introducing this property into the Australian Market when it was first built and was quite superb.
Unfortunately, it has fallen into a sad state of total dis-repair; we were contemplating purchasing the property until I inspected it earlier this year. I knew it was "tired" but in my wildest dreams could not have contemplated just how bad it really is now.
Only one room was available for guests as all others had serious roof leaks and other maintenance problems - and that one was tired and dirty.
What a shame as Villa Indah is built on the Ayung River Valley and has some of Bali's very best views.
Basically it now needs to be stripped right back to the foundations and re-built from the ground-up. No "cosmetic" treatment will ever get it back to a standard which most guests would consider acceptable.
I am unfamiliar with Honeymoon Guest House as they will not sell through any Wholesaler's programme.
We have huge success with Tjampuhan Resort & Spa which overlooks the Oos River Valley. They have a brilliant Spa which has been carved from the River Rock on the banks of the Oos. If you stay 4 nights and pay for Agung Room (Fan-Cooled) you get a complimentary upgrade to a Raja (A/C) Room. Staff here are absolutely superb!
