Even though I'm quite a seasoned Bali traveller, I've never got up the nerve as I said before, to just front up.
In saing this, I always do the excercise each trip of looking for new hotels to try, and I negotiate a price that I'd be willing to pay,and I say to myself, next year I'm just going to front up, but LOL it never happens. I always jib out in the end.
I have booked over the internet dozens of times previously, but only with hotels that I know Forumites have dealt with. That way, I get the feed back I need.
You must be really proud of your lad, he seems to be quite mature for his age, and hopefully we'll see more of him on here in the future. Say a big hi to him from me. Cheers Tinggading
