preferably for a few months. hehe... a slight exaggeration, but I know what you mean about curries that haven't had time to marinate.

In my earlier post, when I mentioned us being afraid to let the curries out, I mean that our tongues mught have burned for an hour, but our bums burned for a week.

And, yes, it was largely macho posturing on behalf of my friend and I, but it was also an excuse to meet once a week and explore a different area of the city, have a few drinks and speak a bunch of crap.

There was on dish I didn't recognise in your other post... I forget what it was called now... I know I've eaten saag, tandoori chicken and biryani (sp?) from my local place. Also chicken Korma and makhani style. Their samosas are awesome. They are lacking in the rice department, though... only white short-grained rice. But for the price and convenience, I'm not complaining.

I certainly won't go hungry in India... or probably anywhere in Asia... everything tastes so damn good. The only problem is it takes me so long to get where I'm going, coz I stop every fifteen minutes to try a new dish.

Oh... except for chicken head/claw soup. The broth tasted fine, but the heads and claws looked too much like heads and claws. Now, if they'd ground it up and put it in the bakso, I probably wouldn't have asked questions.
