Toll Free Tel No. - really free @hotels?

Hello,
Can anyone advice me if it's a common practice to charge for toll-free telephone calls at Bali hotels?
It may depend on a hotel, but maybe you know how is it at Melia Bali or at other hotels (I think they all either charge or not)
I will be staying at Melia Bali - I've already asked them by email, but they haven't replied so far...
I have an internet access number 0062-800-1-463-6638 which is said to be toll-free in Indonesia.
It would be great if I could use it free from my hotel room when on holidays in Bali.
