The overall first impression is good especially after you drive down a very lack lustre laneway to get there. The staff are great and very friendly. The basic room is ok but I hated the bathrooms due to there being no separation step for shower. Just felt like it was wet all the time. Had wet feet every time I went to toilet.
Our friends copped an upgrade as there room wasn't ready and this wa much better. Two separate rooms and better bathroom. they had two tv's with remotes - we didn't. I would definitely price the next room up from basic.
Unfortunately we had a pack of idiots staying there who wrecked it for me. I can't say whether this is the ususal crowd it attracts or not but I would be reluctant to stay again. The location is very central and if youlike to party and will sleep well no matter what go for it. Troppozone is right next door and was very noisy for another guest I spoke to. I thought that security could have put in a bigger effort and settled things a bit.
I hate to put the place down so ask for a few more opinions as mine might have been bad timing. I'm pretty broad minded and have stayed in many different places if this helps you.
One more thing is that I thought for the grade of hotel it was quite pricy for drinks and food. Somewhere like Ahdi Dharma Hotel was similar in grade but I had not one single complaint about anything. Bit more of a walk though but still central.
