If you are looking for sleeping somewhere for US$30 or so per night, forget it. But if you prefer a somewhat more comfortable accommodation and a better vacation experience, go for a villa. We can say that all of our guests choosing a villa for the first time will never go back to a hotel.
There are many reasons -- money is only one of them. If you look at the bottom line you save all your transportation costs (free car with driver up to 10 hours per day) and about 70% on your food & beverage expenses, and that is a lot if you enjoy living well.
