This is my pet hate in Bali and after five trips I have not done it. I have been at resorts that have towels put on the lounges and the people who have done it don't come down to use for at least four hours. Pretty selfish act as far as I am concerned. I have spoken to staff and Management about it and I also have had a full on row with a German last year. Staff took his towel off after four hours and guess what he turned up 10 mins later and chucked a spaz. I won. I think the hotels shouldn't allow it and first in first served should apply. Have seen a complete row of loungers with towels on and no bodies for up to four hours.
