We have also had the same experience. We have a full 20 foot container arriving this sunday and to our dismay the agent over here rings and tells us that the fumigation is not to australian standards. Well my husband gets on the phone to bali and blasts the guy over there and he says no way he just sent a container to sydney without a problem. Anyway to cut a long story short if there is a stamp on the back of your fumigation certificate and something about being supervised by a customs officer then it is all fine and dandy (what alot of stress that we didn't need). But it is true in the last couple of weeks they have changed the laws and 90% of the containers that have come from Indonesia have to be refumigated (and believe me it aint cheap). So everyone please if you are getting containers from Bali check out if their fumigation is to Australian standards and u can find out if they are ok by looking at the Aqis Site.
