Hi Caz
Yes, their sizing goes from a size 1 to a size 5.
Here in Oz I am about a 10/12 top half, with the proverbial "pear shaped bottom" at around 14, but sometimes a 12! But I have a small waist, so it can be difficult to get a good fit.
I was generally taking a size 2 at Animale, but then they were a bit big around the bust, so I had my tailor (House of Komangs) take them in for me for a very small fee. I did fit a couple of 1's as well.
My shopping mate has a larger bust & waist, but smaller legs (isn't that always the way - she's one of the "carrots"), and she was taking a size 4 generally, but also had Komang alter in a few places. Here in Oz, she usually has a 16 for tops and 12 for the bottom half.
Hope that helps, but guess you need to try things on. Veroniqua herself is very petite, and she said the clothing was too big for her, but as a lot of dresses were "waistless", you may be okay.
With me liking at least half the stock, it was difficult to limit myself to just 8 purchases, and a very good looking tall African lady walked out with 5 huge bags full!
The shop is airconditioned and well lit, and you are allotted a sales assistant each, but allow yourself plenty of time there. The clothing is arranged in the various colourways, so found that helpful too, especially when co-ordinating jackets with dresses.
The first visit, Jud and I were there for nearly 2 hours. They also allowed us to use their toilet out the back, which can be convenient on a long visit.
