Prices for Cargo from Indonesia have increased dramatically in the last couple of months.
There are two fumigation procedures that must be carried out now.
You can get the fumigation done in Australia, but it is cheaper to get it done in Bali.The whole container is fumigated at once, not individual items, so you would probably have to go with the flow there.
I will be increasing my rates on the next container,but not for customers who have items that I have already quoted a price to, but think that as you were already quoted a price, they should probably stick to that price, however if you dont have anything in concrete you probably cant do much about it.
Your charges sound a bit much anyway, for Perth.
