My Mum & Aunt came over for 10 days, Aunt saw a carved lady with long flowing hair in a side alley in Tegallalang, she had to have it..
Hubby stops the car & get's it for her, the whole trip back to Tuban Mum & Aunt are giggling & panicking as to where this carving will go... Whole time hubby is saying, "No Problem, we sort it out!"
The day comes for them to pack, they had gone truly beserk (I think that neither hubbies were there to stop them helped) We go to their hotel to collect them & leave stuff at hubby's village in Tuban...WOW, they had bought heaps more that day that the were sure would squeeze in!!!!
Filled the car & I was laughing at the amount of drinks they'd consumed to give them some dutch courage at check in!!!!
The Hotel had been out of power & water, so the spent an hour or 2 in the pool at the bar drinking!!!!
The time comes to go to airport after a few more quick drinks & Aunt is in a sweat...
We get to airport & as my Father in loaw is a part time porter, he has arranged for a few friends to collect mym Mum & Aunt's bags & check them in for them....
They were taken upstairs to some secret bar (I still don't know where?) whilst their luggage & boarding passes etc are all taken care of.
They get called a while later & they have priority on their ticket & a ferw priority stickers go onto everything else they have..
They disembark in Melb & the priority stickers are all over their suitcases as well.
They weighed their luggage & 2 extra large Bali bags filled with the wooden statue & as they had the bags they'd filled these as well & between them had about 98kgs!
Oh well, all in one piece....
My Aunt has never been so grateful!!!!
I must get them to do that for us next time!!!!!!
It really is like running a gauntlet, you have no idea when som,eone will grab onto you & try to squeeze a few extra rp's from ya!!!! ha ha aha aha
