Dear Clients,
We have been informed by the shipping lines that there will be a PEAK SEASON SURCHARGES effective from 1st August 2004 (Ship On Board Surabaya, shown on B/L), for shipments to AUSTRALIA, ex ASIA.
This PEAK SEASON SURCHARGES is in addition to the previous ocean freight rates with the following amount:
- 20' container: USD 300
- 40' container: USD 400
- 40'HC container: USD 400
In this case, we are still trying to negotiate with the shipping line whether we can reduce the rate restoration as much as possible and will advise you accordingly. In the meantime please refer to above rates unless advised otherwise.
