We stayed at the Intan 3 years ago and enjoyed it although our room was miles away from the pool and the hotel is set a long way back fro the road. We just returned last week and this time we stayed at Resor Seminyak which we loved. We went for a walk up to the Intan because we had heard that some of the rooms were closed for renovations and to tell the truth, it was a sad site. Although the pool area has been renovated and a new restaurant was opened, the wing rooms were all closed and very sad looking. There were only a few people by the pool when we walked through. Actually, now that I remember, when we were there 3 years ago, the pool bar didn't even open - and we were there for 3 weeks !!
Make up your own mind, but I would probably recommend you look for something else.
