I personally think that searching the archives can give you
heaps of great information, recent, current and some good history.

The reply with - ... And face it, searching the archives for the
specific info you require, is a very tenuous and boring task.
Much easier just to ask it ... – just makes the archives sound
irrelevant.

If the archives are irrelevant, then why would (or should) the
Forum Admin bother to keep all the posts, month after month,
year after year ? Because they see the point in it.

I think that you are letting yourself down by not having a look
back there. There is an absolute plethora of information. I have
recently read some of these archive postings which go back to 1997.

If people think it has become a tenuous and boring task to have a
look in this great source of information on Bali, it's people and
it's culture, then what is its point of it?

Why have libraries?

It is just a question – treat it as a rhetorical one if you so choose.
