I know this subject has been almost beaten to death yesterday, but I just want to add one thought. Some people take offence and/or are obviously disappointed when a honest request for information are met with sarcastic comments. The sarcastic commentators have the viewpoint that the inquirer is wasting their time and should check the archives, or they feel that their (sarcastic) answer is humourous and readers should 'lighten up'. So I have a suggestion:

- If someone's request for information is annoying you, why not just keep quiet and move on to the next post? If everybody searched the archives for their answers, we would have nothing sensible to talk about on the forum. I addition, people that recently returned from Bali always have something new to share. And face it, searhing the archives for the specific info you require, is a very tenuous and boring task. Much easier just to ask it.

- If you feel an unsupressable desire to be sarcastic or share your idea of humour, why not (1) create a post inviting that sort of comments, and everyone that wants to share in the fun can join in? or (2) visit any other chat room where people just talk about senseless topics? There are thousands of those.

Respect people that have an honest request for information, and if they are wasting your valuable time, don't waste your own time further by responding. Do us all a favour and move on.
