I was glad to find out that there were 2 Elephant Parks and to experience both of them, it gives you wider experience, and I enjoyed our day (until our ride home didnt arrive anyway!!!). Memories like your mum on those tusks will stay with me for a long while!!! ha ha ha
As far as a comparison goes.....
The rides were basically the same. The Bakkas one went through the jungle and through a small village, the Safari park goes through the jungle. Basically the same.
But if I was to recommend to other travellers it would be the other Safari park I would recommend, after having experienced both of them. The elephant section and restauaunt are separate at Bakkas and you have to be taken through. You dont get to see any other people's interaction with the elephants, and cant see them while you eat. At the safari park its all right in front of you - you can see all the elephants and feed them. Plus the added features of the museum and the better restaurnt and grounds. It is just more attractive and the ammenities at the Safari park like the toilets are obviously much better. (I dont think the toilet flushed at the Bakkas and I hope that was water on the ground that I was standing in!!! he he he)
