We have just come back and stayed at a fairly new hotel in Poppies II, 2 minute walk to Jalan Pantai Kuta. It is called Balisandy. It is not in the travel brochures as yet but we got a really good deal as we knew the Manager's wife but I put someone else on to this hotel and they are getting it for 200,000 rp. per room per night including American or Indonesian Breakfast. but great location, nice and quiet, great staff and the food is cheap at the hotel..
