I just want to say thank you everyone for your kind words and thoughts. It means a lot to us, and I'm sure that being Bali lovers too you can relate.
On arriving home with 3 very hungry kids, we realised that we had nothing in the house to eat, but made do with cuppa soup. We then tried to convince our daughter that having a tantrum would not solve anything! (They are just tired!)
Finally Garuda have some information. Our flight is leaving at 7am tomorrow morning. I am just relieved that we are going at all, and I feel much better after having a little sleep.
We might try to get an extra night, but at the moment I just want to get there and can't think of anything else! My husband and I are both supposed to be going back to work, but there are always ways around that!
Fingers crossed ........ that there will be no problems tomorrow!!
One last note - I agree that its better fixed on the ground than being discovered in the air. What worried us was that some of the ground staff informed us that "if this had happened to the plane in indonesia, they would have just sent it off, but australia has stringent safety regulations and wouldn't let it go." that makes us feel a whole lot better about the flight back from bali!!! ;)
