If you get blue bird taksi, the light blue colour with a clover leaf on the light on top, it is a metered taksi whereas the others you have to agree a price before you get going, or you might get a shock. For us (two families) sometimes it was cheaper to get an agreed price and go in a "van" rather than two taksi... From tuban it should be quite cheap to get to Kuta - less than 10,000 rups...
