I was there on the 6th of June and had exactly the same problem.
We went into Tootsie's to shop and the ladies were waiting out the front for us. We decided to duck out the back way to avoid them on the way out, but the lady in Tootsies told them so they ran around the back to get us. NOT HAPPY JAN !!
Anyway, kept telling them NO, and finaly got rid of them with only a little bit of abuse in their lingo !
Scared me a little bit as it was my 1st day on my 1st trip to Bali.
