As I said, the food going over was extremely average, in fact Hannah had some lamb dish which smelt so bad she couldn't even eat it. On the way back we declined all food. Because it was 1am they were shovelling the food out and back really quickly so that they could turn out the lights. Then same deal as you, they woke us all up 20 minutes before landing and that was it.
The extra baggage was good though because we would have been over in economy, but only by 6kgs and the girl at the desk said we would have got through without a problem.
