Would have to disagree a little bit on the 'friendly fun forum like it used to be' bit.
I can remember the times when there were so many flame wars etc (particularly before & sometimes just after registration)that there was very little info posted at all.
There were far more personal,often nasty, sarcastic and sometimes humourous posts directed at people than there are now.
As I've said before I believe the forum goes in cycles...
flaming,full of info,people tryin to get the forum to change in one way or another, ...up and down.
