Grrrrr shots

hiya

We leave in 2 weeks (16th of Aug) for Bali and didnt even know till I just read all the postings about the shots we have to have :-O Grrrrr
Are they really important ????
I have been counting the days, and reading on here all about what to see and do while there and im soooo excited about all the shopping and sights etc.
And now to boot iv got the darn flu so I dont think the DR will give me shots, even if I ask Booo Hooo :-(
