Do you know you should always take out your travel insurance once you have paid a sizeable deposit or full payment for your tickets. The reason being that the travel policy covers you for longer and no extra charge. Eg pay 1 July, travel 1 Sept till 15 Sept. If you had to cancel the trip for claimable reason, had you taken the policy on 1 July, you have cover for 2 months prior to departure. If you take policy 15 Aug, you only have cover for 15 days prior to travel plus the 15 days that you are away.
Never leave home without travel insurance.
